The Orphan Charity Foundation's Babil branch honoured high-achieving student Ruya Basim Ammar, who won the mental arithmetic championship in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in the presence of twenty orphans registered with the Foundation.
Ahmed al-Jawdhari, head of the branch, said: We took the opportunity of this ceremony to plant the seed of a role model of diligence, excellence and creativity in the orphans present, by presenting the living example of the honoured student's journey from Iraq to Jordan, how she developed herself in this academic field and how she achieved a great victory in it, representing her country, Iraq.
