The Orphan Charity Foundation's Kadhimiya branch set up a mourning mawkib (pilgrim service station) marking the martyrdom anniversary of the Gate of Needs, Imam al-Kadhim (peace be upon him), where the branch offered a variety of services to those walking to the shrine of the two Kadhimi Imams (peace be upon them) to offer their condolences and sympathy to them both, as well as serving meals and drinks, seeking nearness to God Almighty.
The Foundation made use of the pilgrimage season to promote the cancer treatment campaign "Journey of Hope", calling for donations to save those afflicted with this grave disease.
