The head of the Orphan Charity Foundation's Al-Qasim branch, Mr. Ahmed al-Jawdhari, received a delegation from the College of Food Sciences at Al-Qasim Green University, who came to learn about the Foundation's programmes and activities. The delegation included Mr. Ali Abdul-Amir, Mr. Muntasir Ayed and a group of the college's students. During the meeting, the delegation learned about the most important services the Foundation provides to orphans and the new forms of giving it has introduced, particularly in education.
In his remarks in the Foundation's guest book, Dr. Muntasir Ayed wrote: "To those who have devoted their efforts to serving orphans: you have all our greetings and our wishes for the fulfilment of the hopes of Iraq's orphans."
The visit concluded with the delegation presenting the Foundation with gifts, including toys and clothes, to be distributed to the orphans registered with it.
