A delegation from the Orphan Charity Foundation's Diwaniyah branch, led by the head of the branch, Mr. Ahmed Kadhim Kitab, visited the Family Guidance Centre in Diwaniyah, affiliated with the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, where the delegation was received by counsellor Ms. Ibtisam al-Mihna, together with the centre's counselling staff.
During the visit, a number of humanitarian and social issues were discussed, and the Foundation's programmes were presented, with a focus on the “Journey of Hope” project, which aims to support cancer patients, as well as an introduction to the project's objectives and how it is implemented.
For her part, Ms. Ibtisam al-Mihna welcomed the visiting delegation, commending the humanitarian efforts the Foundation makes in serving groups in need and praising the Journey of Hope project for the lofty humanitarian message it carries, which helps to strengthen social solidarity.
