📍Shatrah branch. 🏗Religious Programme.
The Orphan Charity Foundation's Shatrah branch held a mourning gathering (majlis) to mark the martyrdom of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) and to observe the blessed Laylat al-Qadr, attended by 140 registered orphans together with their respected families, after which an iftar banquet was held. His Eminence Sayyed Iyad al-Zamili lectured at the gathering, addressing the role of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) in caring for orphans and looking after them so that they would become a nucleus for building Islam, religion and creed. Al-Zamili also discussed the importance of observing the blessed Laylat al-Qadr through acts of worship, prayer and reading the Holy Quran, and at the close of the gathering the Shatrah branch distributed portions of red meat to the respected families.
