The Orphan Charity Foundation's Kadhimiya branch began a campaign to distribute Eid al-Adha clothing to (500) orphan boys and girls registered with it, in preparation for the blessed days of Eid.
Sayyida Umm Ibrahim, head of the branch, stated: "The campaign involved providing new clothes befitting our dear orphans, with the aim of putting smiles on their faces and letting them feel the Eid atmosphere, full of love and care, amid joy and prayers for all supporters and benefactors".
She stressed that "these initiatives are part of the Foundation's ongoing humanitarian programmes to support orphans and ease the burden on dignified families in need, asking God Almighty to accept the benevolence of the charitable and to place it in the balance of their good deeds".
